1980
In 1980, in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, a visionary man, passionate about the art of perfumery and the science of cosmetics, Don Don Donaciano Lozano, dedicated his effort and commitment to make a dream come true, gave life to Esencias y Materiales Lozmar.
At that time, he did not imagine that his hard work would gradually develop into the driving force behind the region's industry and give rise to what is now a leading international group in the fragrance industry, known as the Lozmar Group.
In a modest house located on José Santos Chocano Street, in the capital of Nuevo León, Donaciano, together with a team of two collaborators, began the production of Esencias y Materiales Lozmar.
At that time, the small house of less than 100 square meters only marketed approximately ten fragrances intended for cleaning use.
Five years later, thanks to the constant efforts of Donaciano and his team, the company acquired machinery and began to expand to a 500 square meter site, which allowed them to increase both production and sales.

1989
In 1989, the company was formally incorporated under the name "Lozmar Essences and Materials". As demand for the products increased, production capacity was increased and facilities were upgraded.
During the first years, it focused on the manufacture of fragrances for local brands. However, it quickly gained recognition in several states of the Mexican Republic, which allowed the company to expand into national markets.
2000 - 2010

2001
As pioneers in the integration of active ingredients and advanced formulas in the development of perfumes and cosmetic products, research and development laboratories have been established over the years, where customized solutions are designed to meet the evolving needs of the market and the expectations of customers. During this period, Lozmar already had more than 100 clients in different parts of Mexico.

2005
Lozmar opens the way to new international suppliers, specialists in organic essential oils, reinforcing its leading position in organic and natural products. These operations consolidate the group's acquisition of raw materials through new integrated channels, representing an opportunity to offer a range of natural wellness products.
2010 - 2020

2010
Lozmar, in its constant process of expansion and adaptability to market demands, has diversified its production line, successfully venturing into new business sectors. In this sense, the company has expanded its product portfolio through the creation of two new business units: one dedicated to the production and commercialization of raw materials, and the other focused on the distribution of aromatic chemical products.
This strategic diversification not only reflects the group's commitment to innovation and quality, but also strengthens its presence in international markets, enabling it to address a wider range of industrial needs and consolidate its leadership in the industry.

2018
Due to the significant increase in the demand for fragrances, a strategic decision has been made to open a new business unit focused on providing specialized services in the aromatization of commercial spaces. This new approach is materialized through the use of industrial diffusers, an advanced technology that allows an efficient and long-lasting distribution of fragrances in large commercial spaces. Also, in this expansion process, the fragrance offer has been expanded and diversified, developing new formulas specifically adapted to the needs and preferences of this market segment.
This expansion not only demonstrates Lozmar's ability to adapt to emerging trends, but also reinforces its position as a leader in the creation and distribution of aromatic solutions, opening up new opportunities in the ambient scenting market.
During the same year, the company underwent a significant transformation by changing its name from "Esencias y Materiales Lozmar" to "Grupo Lozmar". This name change not only reflects an internal evolution, but also symbolizes the strengthening of its presence and positioning in the market, both nationally and internationally. The new corporate identity responds to the need to consolidate its image and expand its sphere of influence, adapting to the demands of a globalized market, where the diversification of its services and products has allowed the company to project itself as a relevant player in its sector.
2020 - PRESENT

We have expanded our fine fragrance offerings to suit the diverse preferences of our customers.
From the light freshness of the Eau de Toilette and the vibrant Eau de Cologne, to the intensity of the Eau de Parfum and the luxurious concentration of the Parfum, we offer options for all tastes. In addition, we have launched exclusive Niche Perfumes and Unisex Perfumes, designed to break down gender barriers. With these new categories, we continue to deliver exceptional and personalized olfactory experiences.

2021
Grupo Lozmar takes a step forward by renovating and updating the scent showroom to offer a unique sensory experience.
With a modern and elegant design, the space showcases all our fragrances, from the freshest to the most sophisticated, inviting customers to explore and enjoy each product. In addition, we incorporate interactive technology so that visitors can learn about the history and creation process of our fragrances, thus consolidating our commitment to innovation and the quality of our scents.

2022
Grupo Lozmar has consolidated its presence in the international arena by taking part in the World Perfumery Congress (WPC). Since this year, the company has adopted the practice of annually attending this prestigious event, which represents a key platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and access to new markets. Participation in this congress allows the company to explore the latest industry trends, discover technological advances and establish strategic relationships with relevant players in the sector. In addition, the WPC offers a valuable opportunity to forge global alliances, which drives the company's sustained growth, consolidating its position in the global market and opening new avenues for expansion and international competitiveness.
Currently, it has more than 6,000 customers both nationally and internationally. The company produces and markets more than 1,000 different fragrances. In addition, it maintains its firm commitment to fully satisfy the needs of the market, guaranteeing quality and innovation in all its products.

2023

In recognition of our actions and principles, this year the company was awarded the "ESR" (Empresa Socialmente Responsable) distinction by the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (CEMEFI) and the Alianza por la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial en México (AliaRSE), a recognition that validates our efforts to operate in an ethical and responsible manner, with a comprehensive approach to social and environmental well-being.

A new sister brand of Lozmar is launched, called BIOAROMA, which will function as an e-commerce platform specialized in retail sales. This new initiative aims to expand the company's reach, allowing it to reach a larger and more diverse market. BIOAROMA will be positioned as an online store offering high quality products, with a focus on satisfying the needs of end consumers, providing direct access to a wide range of fragrance products and other related items.
This digital expansion represents not only a response to current online shopping trends, but also a strategy to strengthen Lozmar's presence in the market, taking advantage of the benefits of e-commerce to reach a global audience and facilitate accessibility to its products. With this step, the company reinforces its commitment to innovation and diversification of its commercial offering, ensuring its sustained growth in the market.
